With Morgan’s endometriosis diagnosis, she felt the need to share with her husband, her then boyfriend, that she potentially could struggle to conceive. He was super receptive to her news and shared that he was on the board of an adoption agency. Morgan thought – great, match made in heaven! Needless to say, they started trying to conceive as soon as they got married. After six months of no positive pregnancy tests, they decided to visit their OB. At that appointment, she found out that not only was her hypothyroidism a potential issue for conception but that she had diminished ovarian reserve (DOR). Her physician shared that her AMH was 0.43, at 29 years old, which is equal to the levels of a 49 year old. Morgan speaks to how she was able to increase her AMH to 1.08 with a change in diet and supplements.
After two rounds of IUI, Morgan touches on the importance of mental health and how it is importance to recognize when it is time for a break. Morgan goes on to share with us, her three rounds of IVF, what a cancelled IVF cycle looks like, and her personal horror story with the PGT testing of her embryos.
